This project promises refurbished theaters, expanded public spaces and increased visual and physical transparency at Lincoln Center. The construction commences with an overhaul of the West 65th Street corridor. The replacement of the travertine cladding on the ground floor of the Belluschi building with glass will permit a needed expansion of the Juilliard School and expose the volume of Alice Tully Hall within the building. A new fountain will occupy the center of the main plaza, and a two-level arrival point will address security concerns and facilitate traffic flow. City-Owned Institution.
